IMPORT - TRANSACTION OF THE IMPORT OFFICE
The import consists of introducing to the country merchandises coming from the outside for use or consumption.
Arrival, reception and guard of the Merchandise
- Opening of registry,

Passed the term without the presentation of the manifesto it will be presumed that the showed merchandises have not been introduced clandestinely to the country and, consequently, it will be come to the seizure from the same ones and one will dominate the transporting company the sanctions anticipated in the regulations.
- Acts prohibited, during their permanence in the deposit the merchandises cannot be object of any change or modification that alters or modifies their tariff nature, except for the reacondicioned of the defective packing of the bulks, the overhaul, extraction of samples or other similar measures arranged by the competent authority.
- Transference of the merchandise on board or in deposit, the merchandises can be transferred although they are on board and, also those that are in deposits they can be transferred without causing no type of customs burden, but the transference will not alter to the conditions of entrance and storage, and the obligations derived from one or another one.
Abandonment
Abandonment of the merchandise to the following facts is considered:
- The declaration in writing like so by the owner or consignatary
- The one of the identified proprietor or simply not ignored
- The one that still knowing its proprietor or consignatary, is considered in abandonment, by not to have formally initiated the toward proceedings to his re retiremen in the predicted terms
- The one that with transacted, but not settled office, once finished the legal term.
- The originating species of shipwrecks.
Documents of the delivery
At the moment of the presentation of the Document of the, in addition to the documents that credit the request of the nationalization of the concerned merchandise, the office must go accompanied of:
- Name, direction and company/signature of the exporter.
- Name or trade name and direction of the importer.
- Port of entrance and place of destiny.
- Date and number.
- Mark of the bulks, class and numeration.
- Detail of the merchandise.
- Utilities of commercialisation and amount of the same ones.
- Unitary price FOB.
- Value total FOB.
- Value of the load and the insurance if were paid outside.
- Others expenses paid.
- Value CIF and gross and net weight of the merchandise.
- Certificate of merchandises.
Examination of the delivery
The competent office verifies if the data of the delivery of Import agree with annexed documents to the same one and if these are complete and correct. In case that thus it is, it is come to the numeration being by this fact accepted with his legal consequences.
Consequences of the acceptance
The acceptance of the office leaves to the subject consignatary to effective the legal and prescribed obligations to the date of the numeration and determination of the legislation applicable to the operation.
The delivery accepted by the Customs has definitive character and it cannot be amended by the declarante, except for the rectifications admitted by the Customs Authority, those that will be authorized whenever they do not intend to make disappear an infraction.
