WAGE

Wage means remuneration, whichever it is his denomination or method of calculation that can evaluate in cash, which had by an employer to a worker by virtue of the services or works that this one has carried out or must carry out, in agreement with the stipulated thing in the work contract.

The wage will be stipulated freely but it could not be inferior to which it establishes like minimum in agreement with the prescriptions of the Law.
 

Modalities of payment

The wage can be paid by time unit (month, week, fortnight, day or hour); by work unit (piece task or by piece) and by commissions on sales or collections on behalf of the employer.

The wage will be paid in currency of legal course. Exceptionally the payment will be able to be made in species, in which case the value remunerated in species could not be superior to 30% of the wage.
 

Minimum Wage

The wage minimum is that sufficient one to satisfy the normal necessities with the consisting of life of the worker feeding, room, clothes, transport, honest forecast, culture and recreations considering it like family head.

Legal minimum wage of the state for specified diverse activities in monthly the Metropolitan area is not of Gs. 782,186.

** The minimum wage is for the remunerated personnel by piece payment per day of work, the minimum wage is divided between 26 days.
 

Obstruct of the wage

The wage could be obstructed within the following limitations:

  • Until 50% for payment of nutritional pensions;
  • Until 40% to pay to the room of the worker or acquired nutritional articles for consumption;
  • Until 25 % in the other cases.

In case of cumulative embargoes, the amount will not be able to exceed in any case 50% of the basic wage perceived by the worker.

The Christmas bonus and the familiar allocation are unattachable.
